USA Today concern Mark Lane's allegations that the CIA, and more specifically Watergate doofus E Howard Hunt, had their sticky paw prints all over the murder of President Kennedy.

This is from the February 7 issue. Grumpy Hunt wasn't libeled by the first trial, says the second trial. I don't know if Hunt ever received the $650K awarded by the first courtroom tussle, or if this go-round made him give it back.
We both know that no "official" records remain of any off-the-books involvement by any members of the trench-coat gang.
