They continued the use of the diagnostic bed from STTMP, you notice. Also, compare the faces of McCoy in the first strip with his image in the second strip. I suppose the artist had more reference art for close-ups than for medium shots.

I've left a blank space where the "missing" strip would go. I'm not 100% sure whether this was a 6-day or 7-day strip, or what. Mom never cut out and sent me any Sunday "big" strips, so if there were any, they weren't carried by the Tulsa World.

Here are some STAR TREK newspaper comics from March 1980 and forward. I've grouped them into 5-day conglomerations.
Instead of reading a strip per day, you can read almost a week's worth at once!
Since our local OKC papers didn't carry the strip, my mom actually cut out each day's strip from the Tulsa World, and saved it for me. Isn't that a Mother's love?
