Is Candy from 1958 Stale Yet?

From my copy of Action Comics #247, cover-dated December 1958:

Of course, nowadays we have Tootsie Rolls and the Tootsie Roll Pop, but no blocks of Tootsie Roll Fudge.  Waaah!  Me want some!
